Association for Monitoring Equal Rights (AMER) 

engages in monitoring, support and advocacy to ensure that everyone enjoys human rights and freedoms on a full and equal basis, and trying to contribute to the prevention of all types of discrimination experienced in Turkey.

Monitoring

includes systematic data collection and reporting activities on legislative processes, practices and policies to identify and improve existing human rights conditions.

Advocacy

comprises of a variety of activities to strengthen the contribution of civil society organisations to the public policy making processes and to influence the decision making mechanisms.

Support

activities include the provision of legal, practical and financial support to enable a more effective struggle for persons or groups subject to human rights violations as well as civil society organisations.

Association for Monitoring Equal Rights (AMER)

is an organization open to everyone who wants to contribute to the struggle for equality and does not limit this contribution to membership of the association. Let’s advocate for our rights together!

The Equality Watch Centre (EWC) is an international platform that brings together national and international civil society organisations (CSOs), professional chambers, academic institutions, human rights defenders, and researchers to strengthen access to justice for people and groups facing discrimination in Turkey.

The Centre creates a common working ground as well as undertaking lobbying and advocacy activities to strengthen equality policies and National Human Rights Institutions in Turkey. In order to support people and groups who face discrimination, the Centre designs activities to strengthen and develop capacities of civil society organisations (CSOs) and other stakeholders working in this area as well as providing research and project-based grants.
